Community Warehouse is a wonderful non-profit program that distributes furniture and household goods to families and individuals in need. Janet and I have painted donations for the annual "Chair Affair" several times and are amazed by all the great efforts and work they do to help our community.
The Chair Affair
Beautiful, unique and ever growing Portland, Oregon. I was born and raised here so have been involved in many different community events and important causes. One of my favorites is The Ronald McDonald House where family's can stay while their children are receiving medical attention at nearby hospitals. I have been able to meet guests staying there from all over the world. It is most certainly the "House That Love Built".
We create beautiful art.
My daughter, when 11 years old, designed and painted this 50' mural on one of the Ronald McDonald hallways. Its titled "Candy Canine Park" and is filled with dogs playing at the park, each named after a candy bar. Healthy? maybe not so much...fun for the Kids? YES!

Design
Many, many wonderful people were involved in the design and making of the new Ronald McDonald House dining room, in honor of Mindy Mayer's family. It took 6 months to complete, 3 of those painting murals. This project will always be special to me.
Volunteer Appreciation
Teaching a painting class for 60 Ronald McDonald House Volunteers. Everyone had a great time!
